Change We Can Build Together
Real Leadership. Real Solutions. For Real People.
I’m Bri Woodson, and I’m running for Congress in Georgia’s 12th District to make sure every family has a fair shot whether it’s bringing home a paycheck that stretches, keeping a roof overhead, or knowing our kids are safe and supported in their schools. I’m not here to climb a political ladder. I’m here because I believe our community deserves leadership that listens, respects, and works side by side with the people not above them.

Advocate. Organizer. Candidate for Congress in Georgia’s 12th District.
I’m running because the people of GA-12 deserve steady, practical leadership rooted in fairness, responsibility, and community. From supporting affordable housing and fair wages, to strengthening education and expanding access to healthcare, my campaign is about putting people first and keeping politics in check. As a counselor-in-residency, I’ve spent my career listening, problem-solving, and helping people from all walks of life find common ground. If I can bring CEOs, parents, and young people to the same table, imagine what we can accomplish together in Congress.
Let’s build a future where families can thrive, rural communities are heard, and opportunity is within reach for everyone. Join me in this effort because GA-12 deserves leadership that puts people before partisanship. Learn more about Bri Woodson
What I’m Fighting For
I’m fighting for Georgia's 12th District where every family has the freedom to dream, the resources to thrive, and the dignity to be seen. My vision is simple, a government that listens, a system that works, and a future that belongs to all of us, not just the privileged few. From expanding access to healthcare and housing, to protecting democracy and defending second chances, I’m fighting for policies that reflect the best of who we are, and the promise of who we can become. This isn’t about politics, it’s about people, and the belief that when we stand together, we can build a Georgia 12th where justice is real, opportunity is shared, and every voice matters.
Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege.
Expand small business opportunities, raise wages, cut taxes for working families, and invest in job training and broadband so every community can compete and thrive.
"I’ll fight for an economy that rewards work, not wealth, and ensures every Georgian has a fair shot at financial freedom."
Education should open doors, not bury families in debt.
Fully fund public schools, modernize classrooms, expand career pathways, and teach an honest, empowering history that prepares every student for citizenship and success.
"As an educator and advocate, I believe every child, regardless of ZIP code, deserves a quality education and a pathway to success."
A safe home is the foundation of stability, dignity, and opportunity.
Protect renters, curb predatory housing practices, expand affordable housing, and ensure people reentering society and first-time buyers have a real path to a stable home.
"I know firsthand the power of having a place to rebuild. Everyone deserves a roof, a key, and a chance to start again."
Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege.
Expand Medicaid, protect the Affordable Care Act, lower prescription drug costs, strengthen mental health and veteran care, and keep rural hospitals open so no one is left without care.
"As someone who’s walked the path of recovery, I know that healing, mental, physical, and emotional, must be accessible for all."
“Our democracy works best when every voice is heard and every vote counts.”
Protect voting rights, end gerrymandering, enforce civil rights, and guarantee fair, transparent elections so every community has a real voice.
"Democracy isn’t a slogan, it’s a responsibility. I’ll always fight for free, fair, and equal access to the ballot box."
We can have security without sacrificing compassion.
Create a fair path to citizenship, fix our broken immigration system, keep families together, and secure the border with policies rooted in safety and human dignity.
"As a woman of faith, I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, no exceptions."
We can protect our rights while protecting our lives.
Enact common-sense gun safety laws, require responsible ownership, close dangerous loopholes, and invest in community violence-prevention so families can live without fear.
"No parent should fear sending their child to school. No family should lose a loved one to senseless gun violence. It’s time for action, not excuses."
Justice must be rooted in fairness, compassion, and redemption.
End cash bail for low-level offenses, reform a biased sentencing system, and invest in reentry, restorative justice, and community-based alternatives that rebuild lives instead of wasting them.
"I believe in accountability, but also in grace. Everyone deserves a path forward."
"I’m not running to talk about change, I’m running to deliver it."
I’ve seen what happens when leadership fails. That’s why I’m stepping forward to fight for a government that listens, protects, and empowers every Georgian. I’m not waiting on a title to do the work — I’m already doing it. Together, we can build a Georgia where every family has a real shot at freedom, fairness, and a future worth believing in.
